Amedeo Balbi – On Another Planet
July 20, 1969 was the first moon landing in history, so what better anniversary to host astrophysicist Amedeo Balbi on the Aragonese Castle.
The Olive Terrace, a unique location, was the setting for Amedeo Balbi’s lecture, ” On Another Planet.”
Speaker Balbi explained to us how despite the best intentions to colonize other planets, these are quite unfeasible, thus launching the reflection that rather than looking for other planets, it would be appropriate to save our own.
